Meet Yazemeenah Rossi, the 69-year-old hailed as the “world’s most beautiful grandmother” https://vikent.net/meet-yazemeenah-rossi-the-69-year-old-hailed-as-the-worlds-most-beautiful-grandmother/ Tue, 06 May 2025 08:16:32 +0000 https://vikent.net/?p=125762 She’s Nearly 70. No Surgery. No Filters. Just Pure Grace. And She’s Not Slowing Down.

There are some people who remind us that life doesn’t end when we grow older—it begins again. That age doesn’t dim our light—it sharpens it.

Yazemeenah Rossi is one of those rare, radiant souls.

Born in 1955 on the French island of Corsica, Yazemeenah has spent decades defying the expectations of what a woman “should” be after 40, 50… or even 60. And today, as she approaches 70, she continues to glow—body, spirit, and soul—without a single cosmetic procedure.

Once dubbed “the world’s most beautiful grandmother,” she’s far more than just a pretty face. She’s a powerful symbol of what it looks like when a woman owns every part of her journey.

And here’s what makes her story extraordinary:

Yazemeenah didn’t start her modeling career in her teens. In fact, she was already a mother of two when she finally stepped in front of the camera in her 30s—at an age when most models are told to step away.

Instead of fading into the background, Yazemeenah broke the rules. She landed magazine covers, fashion campaigns, and film roles around the world. You may have seen her without even realizing—her presence is unforgettable.

But her success wasn’t handed to her. It came from the way she chose to live—authentically, actively, and unapologetically.

“I knew since I was a teen that I would never settle,” she once said. “Even when raising my children, I was working from home, making clothes, doing design. I stayed curious, adventurous, and connected to my inner child.”

And it shows.

Despite decades in the modeling world, Yazemeenah has never turned to surgery. She’s faced the world with bare skin, natural silver hair, and a fire that refuses to burn out. When people question how she stays so youthful, her answer is refreshingly simple: olive oil, sugar scrubs, avocados—and self-love.

“I haven’t had any cosmetic surgery. The idea of going under the knife when I’m perfectly healthy doesn’t make much sense to me,” she said. Instead, she nourishes her body the way she nourishes her spirit—with intention, grace, and honesty.

But she also speaks truth about aging in an industry obsessed with youth.

“I thought we’d start to see more older models,” she admitted. “But that didn’t happen. Still, growing older is beautiful. You become stronger. You understand yourself.”

And Yazemeenah? She’s not done yet.

“I will model until the end of my life,” she told The Daily Mail. “But it’s not about modeling. It’s about witnessing. Witnessing beauty. Witnessing life. Energy is what makes us alive.”

In a world that tells women to stay small, fade quietly, or chase perfection—Yazemeenah chooses something else: to rise, to shine, and to be seen.

She reminds every woman—every person—that age isn’t a deadline. It’s a gift. A badge of experience. A testament to endurance, wisdom, and soul-deep beauty.

If you’ve ever felt less than because of your age, let Yazemeenah be your proof: You are more than enough. You are powerful. And your story is still unfolding.

So let the silver show. Wear your laughter lines with pride. And never stop becoming.

Because aging isn’t the end of beauty—it’s the beginning of something far more extraordinary.

👉 Share this with someone who needs to remember how powerful aging can be. 💫

Man who spent $10,000 getting eyes tattooed black answers ‘most common question’ about procedure… https://vikent.net/man-who-spent-10000-getting-eyes-tattooed-black-answers-most-common-question-about-procedure/ Tue, 06 May 2025 07:54:48 +0000 https://vikent.net/?p=125754 Man who spent $10,000 getting eyes tattooed black answers ‘most common question’ about procedure
The TikToker has answered the most asked question about the procedure

A man who spent thousands on getting his eyes tattooed black has answered one of his most asked questions.

TikTok user @questg.tv, also known as Quest Gulliford, posts videos answering questions from his viewers and sharing days in his life.

Quest is completely covered in tattoos, all the way up to his scalp, and is a cancer survivor according to his account bio.

He has over 982k followers on the social media app, and they are all curious about his procedures and how it affects him today.

But one of the most asked about his procedures is the one he had done on his eyes.

Three years ago, he had the whites of his eyeballs tattooed completely black, leaving just the brown pupils exposed in the $10,000 procedure.

He has previously revealed that he can no longer see an ophthalmologist – also known as an eye doctor – following the procedure, instead needing to see one beforehand to ensure his eyesight was fine to proceed.

The Las Vegas-based content creator has recently answered his most asked question though, with thousands of people’s curiosities put to rest.

A user asked: “The real question is WHY do people do this”.

Quest replied, saying it’s the number one most frequently asked question.

He explained: “You guys know you can literally just do what you wanna do in this life.

“I know most people base their actions on what other people’s opinions are of them, or worrying if they look bad or good,” he continued.

The TikToker claimed that people don’t do what they want to do because of other people’s opinions.

“I just didn’t wanna live like that,” Quest further explained.

“You don’t have to worry about others’ opinions or your family’s opinions, because at the end of the day, you’re in this body and whatever makes you comfortable, makes you comfortable.”

He said that’s what he decided to do, despite it taking a ‘long time to get to this look’, with plans to ‘add on’ more.

Quest urges everyone to be themselves and to not care about what others think.Quest urges everyone to be themselves and to not care about what others think.

Quest also said that he loves his black eyeballs and that there is nothing wrong with them.

Viewers were incredibly supportive and understanding towards Quest in the comments on the video.

One user commented: “Couldn’t agree more you look great x”.

Another supportively put: “The real question is why don’t MORE people do this”.

A third said: “Live for yourself… Why blend in or conform to society’s view on how we should be.”

A nice round-off to a genuinely heartfelt message from the heavily inked TikToker.

She Wanted Blue Eyes to Match Her Ink. Instead, She Cried Blue Tears and Went Bl:ind for… https://vikent.net/she-wanted-blue-eyes-to-match-her-ink-instead-she-cried-blue-tears-and-went-blind-for/ Tue, 06 May 2025 07:37:05 +0000 https://vikent.net/?p=125725 Amber Luke had always embraced bold beauty. With over 600 tattoos and nearly her entire body covered in ink, she wasn’t a stranger to pain—or the spotlight. But nothing could’ve prepared her for what happened when she decided to tattoo her eyeballs.

In her early twenties, Amber—known as the “Blue Eyed White Dragon” online—took her commitment to body modification one step further. She wanted her eyes to match her striking aesthetic: a bright, surreal blue. But the price she paid was more than she ever imagined.

The moment the ink touched her eye, she knew something was wrong.

“It felt like shards of glass were being rubbed into my eyes,” Amber later said. Four needle injections per eye. No anesthesia. No second chances. What followed was three agonizing weeks of complete blindness. She couldn’t walk on her own. She couldn’t eat without help. She couldn’t see anything at all.

For two days, she cried blue tears—a haunting sign that the ink had flooded places it was never meant to go.

Amber says the artist went too deep, penetrating the eyeball in a way that no safe procedure ever should. “If it’s done right, you shouldn’t go blind,” she later explained. But her experience was anything but right.

The trauma changed her. It shook her faith in her own limits. Though she had spent over $90,000 on tattoos and piercings since the age of 14, nothing had ever left her this broken—or this afraid.

In a moment of reflection, Amber had a tattoo inked across her chest: a woman crying blue tears. A permanent reminder of the pain, the risk, and the lesson she’ll never forget.

She shared her story online not for pity, but as a warning. “It’s been five years since I lost my sight for three weeks and was completely incapable of being an independent person,” she wrote. “The torturous procedure… changed me forever.”

Amber still embraces her unique style, but she now draws a firm line when it comes to her eyes. Some risks simply aren’t worth the fallout.

This wasn’t just another tattoo. It was a turning point.

A reminder that what we do to stand out… can sometimes leave scars we never meant to wear.

“I Feel So Much Happier”: Woman Branded A ‘Demon’ After Getting Her Eyeballs Tattooed… https://vikent.net/i-feel-so-much-happier-woman-branded-a-demon-after-getting-her-eyeballs-tattooed/ Tue, 06 May 2025 07:27:18 +0000 https://vikent.net/?p=125716 A woman has spent over $63,000 on extreme body modifications, which includes a collection of body art, fang and breast implants, piercings in her nipple, tongue, nostrils and bridge of her nose, as well as having her eyeballs tattooed.

Kierstyn Milligan has amassed over 704,000 followers on TikTok and earns a living on OnlyFans due to her unique look.

“I have had this vision in my head since I was young and have finally fulfilled it,” says the 22-year-old.

“The way I looked before compared to now, I feel so much happier.

“Before I had no self love or even understood who I was. Now I feel I understand myself the most and have the most self love and confidence.”
Kierstyn has admitted that people aren’t afraid to call her a “demon” or assume she didn’t have a good upbringing, but there are others who admire her body art and want pictures with her.

The 22-year-old has no plans to stop modifying her body and plans to get the other side of her face tattooed in January.

“The only advice I can really give to anyone wanting to modify or tattoo themselves is: Do it out of love, do it out of the fact that it will make you happy,” she says.

Is It Fair or Not? Woman Denied Boarding for Wearing a Bikini https://vikent.net/is-it-fair-or-not-woman-denied-boarding-for-wearing-a-bikini/ Sat, 03 May 2025 17:57:01 +0000 https://vikent.net/?p=124639 A 21-year-old female passenger reported being denied boarding for her flight after arriving at the gate in a bikini. She claims that despite her attempts to clarify her choice of attire, she was subjected to unfair treatment, which has ignited significant discussion online.

Kine-Chan, a Brazilian model and cosplayer, donned a black bikini, blue wig, and black sandals to portray Rebecca from the anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners (2022) at an event. Subsequently, she proceeded to Navegantes Airport in Brazil to board a flight. However, she reported that airline personnel refused her boarding, citing her outfit as ‘inappropriate.’

Kine-Chan recounted the incident on Instagram, where she explained the circumstances and her justification for donning the costume. She stated, ‘An extremely frustrating situation occurred this weekend. I attempted to board at Navegantes Airport while dressed in Rebecca’s cosplay for an event.

Aware that I might be late, I chose to wear the costume to save time and head directly to my accommodation. However, I was instructed to return home and change, as my attire was deemed ‘inappropriate.’

Her post garnered a variety of responses in the comments section. Some users expressed that the outfit was overly revealing for air travel. One follower remarked, ‘Kine, I appreciate you, but you might have opted for something more convenient to wear, such as a wrap dress or a button-down shirt.’

“Just Staying at Home?” Think Again. Why Being a Stay-at-Home Mom Might Be the Hardest Job of All https://vikent.net/just-staying-at-home-think-again-why-being-a-stay-at-home-mom-might-be-the-hardest-job-of-all/ Sat, 03 May 2025 14:06:47 +0000 https://vikent.net/?p=124591 At first glance, it seems like a dream: no early alarms, no rush hour, no awkward office politics. Just time at home with your adorable kids, cozy pajamas, and the freedom to sip coffee on the couch, right?

Wrong.

Ask any stay-at-home parent—mom or dad—and they’ll probably respond with a tired laugh, maybe a glazed look, and a comment like: “If only I could drink my coffee while it’s still hot.”

Motherhood is hard. It’s not a secret but no one tells you that the hardest part about being a mom has little to do with your child

The Illusion of “Ease”

There’s a lingering myth in society that staying at home with children is a luxury. That it’s easier, simpler, maybe even a bit indulgent. After all, how hard could it be to hang out with your own kids all day?

Spoiler alert: very hard.

In fact, a study by AVEENO Baby found that nearly 1 in 3 parents (31%) believe staying at home with children is harder than returning to a regular 9-to-5 job. And they’re not just talking about physical exhaustion—though there’s plenty of that too. It’s the relentless multitasking, the emotional load, the mental gymnastics of managing tiny humans who operate on chaos and crackers.

Behind Closed Doors: The Realities of Stay-at-Home Parenting

  • 33% of parents say they eat most meals with just one hand.
  • 22% admit they haven’t had a hot cup of tea since their baby arrived.
  • 17% say their back is in permanent pain.

And only 48% of parents describe starting a family as a “perfect” experience—because let’s face it, perfection has nothing to do with toddler tantrums in the supermarket.

But it’s not just about physical fatigue. Emotionally, the road can be even rougher.

Loneliness, Identity Loss, and Mental Health Struggles

While many people praise the sacrifices stay-at-home parents make, few recognize the silent challenges that come with it. According to a Gallup poll of over 60,000 women, stay-at-home moms were more likely to report experiencing depression, sadness, and anger than working moms.

  • 42% of stay-at-home moms said they felt like they were “struggling,” compared to 36% of working moms.
  • 26% reported feeling sad the day before, and 50% experienced high stress.
  • Fewer SAHMs smiled or laughed during the previous day, compared to working mothers.

And yet, the stigma still lingers. Phrases like “You’re so lucky to stay home,” or “What do you do all day?” dismiss the emotional labor, time, and effort it takes to raise humans, keep a household running, and somehow not lose yourself in the process.

What the Research Really Says

The Pew Research Center and other studies offer sobering facts:

  • More moms are staying home now than a decade ago, but not always by choice.
  • 34% of stay-at-home mothers live below the poverty line—compared to 12% of working moms.

Many stay-at-home moms cite health issues, inability to find work, or enrollment in school as the reason they remain at home.

57% of stay-at-home moms say they’d like to return to the workforce someday.

This paints a more complex picture: staying home isn’t always a choice made from privilege. For many, it’s a difficult decision based on financial, emotional, or logistical necessity.

The Myth of “Having It All”

No matter which path a parent chooses—working outside the home or staying in it—the judgment seems unavoidable. Stay-at-home moms are asked when they’ll “get back to work.” Working moms are questioned about who’s “really raising their kids.” And dads in either role are often treated like unicorns—admired or scrutinized in equal measure.

But here’s the truth: you can’t win by society’s standards. And maybe we shouldn’t try to.

What Actually Matters

Here’s what does matter: Are you doing what’s right for you and your family?

Whether that means being home for every milestone or pursuing your career while juggling daycare runs, both paths require love, sacrifice, and strength. And both deserve equal respect.

Because staying home doesn’t mean sitting still. It means playing nurse, teacher, chef, cleaner, therapist, event planner, chauffeur, and snuggle machine—sometimes all before noon.

So the next time someone says, “I could never just stay at home with kids,” feel free to smile and reply:

“You’re right. Not everyone can.”

Can What You Wear Change Your Mood? A 7-Day Outfit Hack That Might Just Surprise You https://vikent.net/can-what-you-wear-change-your-mood-a-7-day-outfit-hack-that-might-just-surprise-you/ Thu, 24 Apr 2025 09:02:07 +0000 https://vikent.net/?p=109694 Ever wake up on a Monday morning, stare at a closet full of clothes, and still feel like you have nothing to wear? That indecisive, sluggish feeling — as trivial as it seems — can quietly drain your energy before your day even begins.

But what if there were a simple way to not only save time choosing outfits but also reboot your mindset and spark motivation for each day of the week — all through color and clothing? It might sound simple, but this is a secret productivity hack that many successful people use silently: dressing with intention.

Let’s explore how dressing by day of the week, not for fashion but for focus and energy, can be a game-changer in how you face your week.

Monday – Red or Orange: Fire Up Your Motivation

Monday is notoriously the toughest day. Your brain is still in weekend mode, and everything feels sluggish. This is the day you need a psychological push — and it starts with your outfit.

Recommended colors: Red, orange, burgundy
Psychological effect: Red stimulates adrenaline and raises alertness. Orange creates warmth, friendliness, and enthusiasm — perfect for jumpstarting the week.

Style ideas:

  • A red blazer with black pants for a powerful office look
  • A soft orange dress for a cheerful, energetic vibe

Mindset tip: Wear something that makes you feel strong. When you see yourself radiating vibrant energy in the mirror, your mind will naturally respond with motivation.

Tuesday – Navy Blue: Calm Focus, High Productivity

Tuesday is when you settle into work mode and need deep focus to tackle your to-do list. That’s why a sense of structure and calm is key.

Recommended colors: Navy blue, deep indigo
Psychological effect: Navy blue is associated with trust, intelligence, and a clear head — ideal for decision-making and strategy.

Style ideas:

  • A navy suit with a crisp white shirt for a formal setting
  • Navy trousers with a beige turtleneck for casual sophistication

Mindset tip: Blue shades calm the nervous system and help you stay composed under pressure.

Wednesday – Green: Midweek Refresh Button

Wednesday can feel like a drag. You’re not at the finish line, but you’ve lost some early-week momentum. This is your day to recharge.

Recommended colors: Green, mint, sage
Psychological effect: Green reduces visual fatigue, balances the mood, and brings renewal — like nature.

Style ideas:

  • A mint green blouse with a white skirt for a light, breezy look
  • Olive hoodie with light-wash jeans for effortless freshness

Mindset tip: Even a green accessory — a scarf, watch, or bag — can give you that small but powerful mental lift.

Thursday – Yellow or Beige: Spark Your Creativity

Thursday is often when ideas flow and creative meetings happen. This is your moment to shine and think outside the box.

Recommended colors: Mustard yellow, light beige, pastel gold
Psychological effect: Yellow boosts creative thinking and positivity. It energizes without overwhelming.

Style ideas:

  • A soft yellow blouse with wide-legged white pants — smart and imaginative
  • A pastel yellow dress layered with a beige cardigan — gentle yet striking

Mindset tip: A splash of yellow, even on your nails or earrings, tells your brain it’s time to open up and express.

Friday – Black or Metallic: End the Week in Style

It’s the final push of the week, and you want to finish strong — but also be ready for weekend plans. Time to embrace confidence and cool.

Recommended colors: Black, charcoal, subtle metallics
Psychological effect: Black symbolizes power and elegance. A touch of metallic says you’re ready for fun.

Style ideas:

  • A fitted black dress with silver hoops — work-ready, date-night ready
  • Black ripped jeans with a metallic top — edgy yet comfortable

Mindset tip: Don’t be afraid to add a little shimmer — it’s your well-earned celebration for getting through the week.

Saturday & Sunday – White, Earth Tones, Pastels: Slow Down and Feel

The weekend is for you — to relax, recharge, and enjoy. Your clothes should reflect ease, softness, and emotional clarity.

Recommended colors:

  • Saturday: White, soft pink
  • Sunday: Warm browns, cream, nude tones

Style ideas:

  • Flowing white sundress and sneakers — classic weekend comfort
  • Beige sweater with a midi skirt — cozy, calm, and cute

Mindset tip: Neutral tones help you mentally slow down and tune into what matters: connection, self-care, and peace.

The Bottom Line: Dress to Feel, Not Just to Impress

Think of dressing as your daily ritual of emotional alignment. Each color sends signals to your subconscious. Each outfit is a dialogue between your inner self and the world.

You don’t need a whole new wardrobe — just a few mindful choices, a handful of key colors, and you’ll be surprised at how differently your week flows.

Because when you dress for your mindset, you’re dressing for a better version of yourself.

Ready to test it out? Try this “7-day outfit hack” next week and pay attention to how you feel. You might discover that your clothes have more power than you thought — not just to impress others, but to inspire you.

Tiny but Mighty: The Unexpected Purpose of the Small Jeans Pocket https://vikent.net/tiny-but-mighty-the-unexpected-purpose-of-the-small-jeans-pocket/ Tue, 22 Apr 2025 02:07:49 +0000 https://vikent.net/?p=109093 Jeans come in all shapes, sizes, and colors, but if you take a closer look, you’ll notice something almost all of them have in common: a tiny pocket tucked inside one of the front pockets. It’s often too small to fit anything useful—so what is it doing there?

A Timeless Fashion Staple with Hidden Details

Jeans are one of the most universal fashion items—worn by people of all ages and social backgrounds. Their popularity stems from their versatility, durability, and timeless appeal. With a simple yet flattering design, jeans can be dressed up or down for almost any occasion.

But beyond their obvious qualities, jeans also hide some interesting design features that many people overlook. One of the most curious? That tiny pocket.

What’s the Purpose of the Tiny Pocket on Jeans?

It might seem logical to assume the pocket is meant for loose change, a ticket stub, or maybe a mint. And while it can be used for those things, its original purpose is far more specific and rooted in history.

According to Levi’s—the company credited with inventing jeans—the small pocket was originally designed in the late 19th century as a “watch pocket” or “fob pocket.” Back then, pocket watches were the norm, especially among workers and cowboys, and needed a secure place for storage. In 1873, Levi Strauss introduced this small pocket as part of the classic five-pocket jean design, specifically to hold a pocket watch.

As wristwatches eventually became mainstream, the pocket watch faded into history—but the little pocket stayed. Today, it serves more as a nostalgic feature or stylistic detail, though many people use it to carry small items like coins, keys, or simply to add a touch of flair to their outfit.

Another Detail You Might Have Missed: The Jacron Patch

Aside from the small pocket, there’s another classic feature on jeans that often raises questions: the leather or faux leather patch on the waistband.

This patch, called a Jacron, typically features the brand’s logo. Levi’s pioneered this design element in 1873, sewing a leather label onto the back waistband to identify their products and distinguish them from imitations. It quickly became a symbol of authenticity and quality.

Today, the Jacron patch is a staple across many denim brands—not just Levi’s. In fact, in 2018, American Eagle even launched an AE Studio in New York where customers could design their own custom Jacron labels, turning a branding feature into a fashion statement.

How to Use the Tiny Pocket Without Ruining Your Look

Now that you know the origin of the tiny pocket, here are a few tips for making the most of it without compromising your outfit’s aesthetic:

  • Use it for small, flat items like coins, mints, or a small key.
  • Avoid stuffing it with bulky objects that could stretch or distort the pocket and make it look awkward.
  • For a personal touch, consider customizing it—some people embroider it or add rhinestones to make it stand out.

What started as a functional feature for cowboys and miners is now a subtle nod to the heritage of denim fashion. The tiny pocket on jeans may not serve the same purpose today, but it remains a charming detail with a story to tell—just one of the many reasons jeans have stood the test of time.

Most people don’t know the meaning of wearing a watch on the right hand… https://vikent.net/most-people-dont-know-the-meaning-of-wearing-a-watch-on-the-right-hand/ Thu, 10 Apr 2025 07:15:32 +0000 https://vikent.net/?p=121636 Wearing a watch on the right hand carries a variety of meanings, influenced by cultural norms, practicality, and personal preference. While the majority of people wear their watches on their left wrist—often due to right-handedness and the desire to protect the watch from damage—there are several reasons why some choose to wear them on the right:

1. Dominant Hand Considerations:

Many individuals wear their watches on their non-dominant hand to prevent interference with daily tasks.

For right-handed people, this means wearing the watch on the left wrist, keeping the dominant right hand free for writing, eating, and other activities. Conversely, left-handed individuals might find it more comfortable and practical to wear the watch on their right wrist, aligning with their natural hand dominance.

2. Cultural and Traditional Influences:

In certain cultures, wearing a watch on the right wrist is customary and carries specific connotations.

For example, in some Eastern European, South Asian, and Middle Eastern cultures, the right hand is considered auspicious or pure. Therefore, wearing a watch on the right wrist aligns with cultural norms and may symbolize respect or adherence to tradition.

3. Occupational and Practical Reasons:

Professionals whose work involves frequent use of the left hand—such as mechanics, nurses, or craftsmen—might opt to wear their watch on the right wrist to minimize the risk of damage.

This placement protects the watch from potential scratches or impacts that could occur during their daily tasks.

4. Aesthetic and Personal Preference:

Some individuals choose to wear their watch on the right hand simply because it feels more comfortable or aligns better with their personal style.

This decision can be influenced by factors such as avoiding interference with other jewelry, achieving a desired look, or following fashion trends.

5. Historical Context:

Historically, the convention of wearing watches on the left wrist became prevalent due to the widespread use of right-handed writing instruments, like fountain pens, which could smear ink if the left hand passed over it. Therefore, wearing the watch on the left wrist kept it out of the way of writing activities.

In summary, the choice of wearing a watch on the right hand is influenced by a combination of practicality, cultural significance, and personal choice. There’s no universally correct wrist for watch-wearing; it’s a personal decision that varies based on individual needs, cultural backgrounds, and lifestyle.
