People all asking the same thing after conjoined twin Abby Hensel’s marriage is revealed…

Everyone is wondering one thing after the happy news.

Everyone has the same question after it was revealed that Abby Hensel, a conjoined twin, has tied the knot.

Abby and Brittany Hensel staked a claim to fame in 1996 following an appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show as six-year-old conjoined twins.

Years after that, they had their own reality TV show on TLC, where they even managed to travel to Europe.

The Minnesota-born dicephalus conjoined twins – which means that they share organs from the waist down – have degrees in education and are now both elementary school teachers in their home state.

Public records emerged today that revealed Abby married nurse and US Army veteran Josh Bowling in 2021, according to Today.

Photos of the wedding were shared on social media at the time, with one photo showing the twins in a stunning white dress across from Abby’s husband Josh, donning a light grey suit.

If you do more digging on social media, further photos reveal that they are all enjoying marriage together.

The women are joined at the torso, with each person controlling their half of the body, though some features differ, such as Brittany being slightly shorter, being four inches shorter than Abby’s half.

This means that she spends a lot of time on her tip toes, making her calf substantially stronger than Brittany’s.

Since they were young, they were made to learn to cooperate, as the twins can now play sports together, type on a keyboard and even drive a car.

However, with the complications of conjoined twins and the recent news of Abby’s marriage, it seems like social media users all have the same concern.

People on Reddit have started to question the legal side of the marriage, with one user asking: “How does this unfold legally? Since they are two people married to one man, who is on the marriage certificate?”

A valid point, as another user revealed their thoughts: “Ngl, for some reason, I was expecting there to be two guys.

“Having only the one guy makes it more confusing. What if they fight? What if one h/w set wants to divorce and the other doesn’t?

“Man, this is interesting,” they concluded.

However, someone has clarified the trials and tribulations of the marriage, replying: “One of the twins will be the legal spouse as far as the state is concerned. So it is theoretically possible that the other twin could someday decide to marry a different person.

“But given the way they have had to harmonise their entire lives, I imagine they would find it easier to stick to being married to just one person,” the Reddit lawyer (pretty much) explained.

The couple have not revealed the legal questions around it, but seeing how determined they have been their whole life, previously explaining how their parents pushed them to do what they wanted to do, they’ll probably find a way to make it all work.
